Frequently Asked Questions
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online arrival registration required for all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea. It replaces the former paper TM6 arrival form and must be completed prior to arrival.
All foreign travelers — including tourists, business visitors, visa-exempt travelers, visa-on-arrival passengers, and long-term visa holders — are required to submit the TDAC before entering Thailand. Thai citizens are exempt.
No. The TDAC is not a visa. It is an electronic arrival registration required by Thai immigration authorities.
Travelers who require a visa for entry into Thailand must still obtain the appropriate visa separately. The TDAC does not grant entry permission on its own and does not replace visa requirements.
The TDAC must be submitted within 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival in Thailand. Submissions made outside this window may not be accepted.
Travelers should complete the registration in advance to avoid delays at immigration upon arrival.
The TDAC is valid for the specific trip and arrival details submitted in your application. It is not a multi-entry authorization.
If you leave Thailand and return at a later date, you must submit a new TDAC for each entry.
Yes. Non-Thai nationals transiting through Thailand may still be required to complete a TDAC, depending on their transit arrangements and whether they pass through immigration control. Completing the form in advance helps prevent potential delays.
Yes. A TDAC may be completed on behalf of another traveler, such as a family member or group participant, provided all information matches the traveler’s passport exactly and proper consent has been obtained.
Group submissions are permitted under the official system.
Once submitted, you will receive a digital confirmation by email. This confirmation should be saved on your mobile device or printed and presented to immigration officials upon arrival in Thailand, together with your passport.
No. This platform operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Thailand or the Thai Immigration Bureau.
We provide an optional, guided application service that includes structured instructions, document verification tools, and customer support. All entry decisions are made solely by Thai immigration authorities.
